Jody Thompson, MS, manages the Center’s social media platforms and guides the digital audience strategy, marketing communications, product launches and outreach initiatives. She has worked with multiple elements of interprofessional education and practice since 2012.

Before joining CAIPER, she provided direct case management for homeless and vulnerable populations. She has a Master of Science degree in Digital Audience Strategy from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University.

 

Nina Karamehmedovic manages the overall administrative and programing work of the Center as well as training and development grant activities. With a background in linguistics and education, and special interest in systems thinking and design, her career spans program and project management in non-profit and fee-for-service public, healthcare, and educational settings in the United States and Canada. 

 

Yvonne Price, MAMC, leads the design, development and implementation of learning products through close collaboration with academic and business representatives of both internal and partner institutions/organizations. She also manages the strategic marketing and distribution of Center products and resources.

 

Barret Michalec, PhD, is the Director of ASU’s Center for Advancing Interprofessional Practice, Education and Research and Associate Professor at the Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation.

As Director, he promotes and enhances ongoing CAIPER initiatives and programs, cultivates productive collaborative partnerships, as well as identifies and expands interprofessional learning and practice opportunities for students, faculty, and community members.
