The Center for Advancing Interprofessional Practice, Education and Research (CAIPER) engages students, faculty, practitioners, and community partners to accelerate thinking and enable robust research amongst diverse health and health-related professions stakeholder groups and settings.

CAIPER works with others in designing, strengthening, and evaluating team-based practices and high-value processes. Our efforts generate new insights and evidence-based strategies to build teamwork and collaboration capacity and increase understanding of team performance and its impact on important health and healthcare outcomes.

These initiatives are part of the Center’s goal to pilot forums for bringing faculty, students, and clinical organizations together to explore opportunities for research and funding that incorporate teamwork and collaboration as an interventional strategy for improving health and healthcare outcomes.
