Is it just us, or did 2024 sneak in and before we knew it, Spring arrived? CAIPER is wrapping up one of the busiest seasons ever, not only for specific projects, but for the center in general.
As we continue to re-imagine team-ness through collaborations, we’re blazing new pathways interprofessional research and education and truly excited to share these initiatives with you soon.
Here's a quick snapshot of what we’ve been up to so far in 2024 and what’s coming next.
New Website, New Year
CAIPER’s website received a complete design overhaul just in time for new training product launches and research releases leading into 2024. The project started in 2023 with the installation of new features including Our Trainings, Learning Solutions Consulting, From the Desk of CAIPER, and our interprofessional Resource Hub.
New IPE eLearning Course
We launched our newest course, Interprofessional Practice in Primary Care, to equip healthcare professionals and students with the knowledge and skills needed to excel as integral members of collaborative teams in primary care settings. The course is an accredited 4-hour eLearning course that strongly emphasizes team-based decision-making and essential skills crucial in both current and evolving primary care practice.
CAIPER Interprofessional By Design™ Learning Solutions Consulting
2024 begins the second year for our award-winning Center’s Learning Solutions Consulting - where we work directly with you and your team to organize, structure, and then integrate essential interprofessional education programs for student learning, faculty training and professional development.
2024 National Academies of Practice (NAP) Annual Meeting & Forum
A proud sponsor of the 2024 NAP Meeting & Forum for the second year in a row, team members traveled to Jacksonville, Florida, for this year’s event. In 2023, the CAIPER Team received the National Academies of Practice Creativity in Practice and Education Award only months after accepting the Nexus Summit George E. Thibault, MD Nexus Award – the highest honor awarded by the National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education. We look forward to joining our friends in 2025 when the NAP Annual Meeting & Forum returns to Washington, D.C.!
CAIPER Quarterly Newsletter
Spring 2024 marks the launch of CAIPER’s first digital newsletter, the CAIPER Quarterly. Concise and direct, the CAIPER Quarterly is a one-stop check-in for subscribers highlighting the latest from CAIPER and our various collaborators in interprofessional practice, education, research and beyond.

Summer 2024 and Beyond!
CAIPER is hitting the road for Summer 2024 presenting work at upcoming conferences such as the American Association of Medical Colleges (AMAC) Northeast Group on Educational Affairs 2024 Annual Conference (NEGEA) at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine, 2024 Heartland Innovations in Interprofessional Practice and Education Summit at Creighton University (HIIPE), and the Association for Health Professions Education (AMEE) in Basel, Switzerland.
