Center for Advancing Interprofessional Practice, Education and Research Launches New Website

Welcome to the new website of the ASU Center for Advancing Interprofessional Practice, Education and Research (CAIPER). We hope you will find our site a good source of information and news about interprofessional education (IPE) activity at Arizona State University and the national IPE community, as well as a valuable resource in your interprofessional journey.

The purpose of our site is to introduce you to Center goals and current initiatives, share resources and invite stories and networking. Explore our Practice, Education and Research pages and you will learn about our collaborative teamwork efforts with clinical organizations, and academic and research groups:

Practice: We're working with community healthcare providers to establish interprofessional sites where health professions students from different disciplines and universities learn to work together as members of high-quality collaborative teams.

Education: Our focus is on engaging, convening and co-creating interprofessional learning opportunities for individuals and teams across all stages of academic and professional development.

Research: We engage students, faculty, practitioners and community collaborators in accelerated IPE thinking and enable research amongst diverse health and health-related professions stakeholder groups and settings.

CAIPER Director Gerri Lamb encourages site visitors to explore and take note of our information and tools. "Our site reflects our strengths and the outstanding relationship we have with our academic, clinical and research colleagues. This dynamic is at the heart of the information and tools we share for use in your interprofessional initiatives."

As CAIPER grows so will our site, and we ask that you check back often and connect with us through our blog and on Twitter and Facebook. We'd like to hear from you and about your interprofessional journey and initiatives.
