The BhEAT Lab
The BhEAT Lab (Belongingness, humility, Equity, Affect, and Teamness) is an incubator and collaborative space for novel and exciting research in the fields of health professions education and healthcare delivery.
Focusing on incorporating and expanding upon classic and contemporary social theories, the BhEAT Lab has two primary realms of research: a) exploring education and training-based factors that impact interpersonal and interprofessional skills, and b) dissecting persistent institutional- and organizational-level barriers and hurdles that continue to prevent authentic diversification of the healthcare workforce.
